Jetpack essential features are really just the Jetpack features that are already built into WordPress.com and that you’d have on Jetpack’s free plan on a self-hosted site – spam protection via Akismet, SEO, Publicize and sharing buttons, use of our image CDN, etc.
Advanced features are stuff like the detailed activity log and backup feature, advanced SEO tools, republicize and scheduling social shares, etc.

  • Hi @sexysilk1,

Would you like to share what exactly you are planning for your site? I can see you have already tried and canceled our Business and eCommerce plans. If you still have any doubts about those, let us know.

If you want to host your site elsewhere and want to use Jetpack with it, you can visit their forums for more information: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack/.

I have a eCommerce website that is being designed and I need to be able to store customer Information/ accounts, send invoices, process payments and and then send customer Information about tracking automatically and keep track of everything, it is going to be a dropship site to start with.
I am really unsure what I need, I have got Reamaze plugin for chat and to deal with emails sorted. But it is the CRM (Customer relationship management) software I am unsure about, do I need this? The designer said about MailChimp but all these extra’s keep adding up!

    Thank you for your help!

WordPress is not “customer relationship manager” software. It’s a content management system.

Jetpack CRM is a customer relationship manager plugin, but it does require that your website is built using WordPress as its base.

Since it sounds like your designer is in charge with building your site, you should reach out to them to help get clarification if they’re using WordPress as the base for your eCommerce website and if they will be wanting to host it here at WordPress.com using the Business plan (which allows custom plugins and themes).

    I hope that helps!
