information in second column gone, how to get it back and edit it?
-
I appologize for not searching, but I really didn’t know what to look for.
I want a two column blog, but I couldn’t figure out how to edit the material in the second column. When trying to find out how, I somehow removed all of the info! How do I get it back, and how do I edit it?
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Ah, not to worry. That’s a common problem and it gives everyone a heart attack, but is easy to fix.
What happens is, when you edit the Sidebar for the first time, it wipes out the default set of widgets that were in there. So all you need to do is add in the ones you want. I recommend Recent Posts, Archives, Categories, Pages, and Recent Comments. That should get you started.

The information in the second column is provided by widgets.

I’m not sure what you did to remove them, but to add widgets you start at your dashboard, then:
Appearance > Widgets > choose the ones you want by clicking the “Add” button.
Some widgets can be edited, some cannot. If you edit them, then be certain to “save” by scrolling down.
Hope this helps? -

Thank you!! That was easy enough to fix :) Delicious and RSS aren’t showing up though, even though I selected them.

You have to configure those. Once you put them in, click on them to open them up and you put in the URLs for the Delicious page and the RSS feed and select some options.
happy valentine’s day all.

All I know is, Twitter’s dead. And if Twitter is dead, that means half of it is cheating on me with the other half, damn those e-flirts!
