Information not loading/ site seeming to crash.

    Although I can view my blog, it won’t load properly when I am signed in. I have cleared the cache and now I can see the blog, but now when I try to edit my gallery, it tells me the connection is lost and I am waiting for ages for anything to happen. It seems that there is no problem with the internet connection this side, as I can use other websites, and I’ve been getting a message saying that no information is being sent from the server. Can you help?

    Hi Sarah! I believe you may have been looking at your site when we were doing some routine maintenance. I just viewed your site and all seems to be working properly now. Are you still experiencing the trouble? I am able to view your site’s pages, view your Gallery, and even open your Gallery in the editor.

    Just trying to edit the gallery now, but I’m still having problems. It keeps saying connection lost, then server not loading. Is there anything you can do?

    Sarah, Please attempt to edit with a different WiFi connection. That’s the first step in troubleshooting the issue. Give that a try and let me know the outcome.

    Additionally, could you please clear out your cache and cookies using the guide below?

    Solve Common Browser Issues

    If changing WiFi connection and clearing your cache makes no difference, please attempt to edit your site through a browser other than Firefox.

    Out of curiosity, are you able to make other changes to your site, or is it only the gallery editing that is causing trouble?

    To answer your recommendations:
    – There is no problem with the WiFi – I am able to use other sites without any problem.
    – I have already cleared all the cache and cookies and it makes no difference
    – I am not using Firefox. I am using Chrome.
    – I have just tried to Edit the ‘About’ page of my site and I have the same problem as when trying to edit the gallery. The screen goes blank and I get a message saying ‘No data received’. Underneath that it says the following: ‘Unable to load the webpage because the server sent no data.’

    Is there anything you can do please?

    This turned out to be an issue where several UK ISPs (including TalkTalk that it looks like you are using) were blocking access to WordPress.com. There are more details here:

    We have had various reports from users yesterday and today who say that their access is back, so I hope if yours is not yet it will be very soon.
