    Hi folks!
I’m a little confused. Can WordPress do everything x-cart can do? If so then why does WordPress offer the incapability to ad it to our WordPress built site.

I’m hoping I only need WordPress to have multiple Vendors, multiple stores, have multiple logins where Vendors can place their own ads and edit them, and have a built in payment system already built into WordPress. Can WordPress do all this itself, or do I require x-cart for some of it?

    cheers

  • Hi there,

I’m not familiar with x-cart, so I cannot comment on how it compares to WordPress. However, the only way you’d be able to use x-cart with a WordPress site, is if x-cart offered a WordPress plugin that allows it to be integrated with the WordPress software.

It looks like x-cart has a WooCommerce integration, so you should be able to use that on any WordPress site. Using that plugin on WordPress.com requires our business plan.
