Information section to show up in search description

  Hi! I have a question. I would like the Information section to show up in search results. For example when my link shows up in a search result the description below the link is the first few sentences of my first post. Is there a way to make the description that shows up in search results a description of my blog ( Information section or a description I write myself )? Is this Meta tagging? Thanks for your help!

  We have no control over what search engines display. We do not have access to meta data on WordPress.com blogs as this is a multi-user blogging platform . Moreover, Google does not use it. This was made clear in 2009 on the main Google Webmasters site and in Matt Cutts of Google’s blog and in his videos. http://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/

  You’re welcome and not to worry about this. Start by registering a Google webmasters account, if you don’t already have one. Then verify your blog ownership with the major search engines.
