Informing readers about affiliate links
-
If I put an Amazon text affiliate link into my blog post, do I need to warn the readers somehow that if they make a purchase on Amazon I will be getting commission?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s what I was wondering about. So what do I do? Just write affiliated link next to it, or do I need to explain more? I don’t know the etiquette (I googled it but can’t seem to find anything about it)

If anyone does not tell me that they are posting an affiliate link so they can make a kickback on my clicking the link, and I click it and make the discovery myself, I will immediately follow that blog and dump that person from my social networking follows as well.

There isn’t any established method, because it’s not an established etiquette. You could put (affiliate link) beside the link if you want, or put it in the alt text of the link. I don’t, because it’s messy and I don’t find it necessary.
