Initial email fail

I can’t get this new blog started, because the initial confirmation email went to a non-functional address. (My fault.) Even after I provided a corrected address, the confirmation email (acknowledging my change of email) is going to the first address I provided. I would be happy to cancel all of it and start over, but the URL that I specifically need is now blocked, as I associated it with a bad email.
