Initial Setup Crashed
-
Hello, My browser crashed during my initial setup. I don’t know if this site has been correctly configured. When i try to customize the site it appears to have options missing. I initially chose to purchase a .com site but I cannot afford it just yet.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. Are you speaking of http://manufacturedinsanity.wordpress.com/? All our sites are running off the same installation of the WordPress software, so one site cannot have configuration options different from another. If my site works, then yours should as well.
The problem could perhaps be with your browser. Please make sure you are using one of the browsers listed here and that your browser is updated to the latest version: http://browsehappy.com/
Additionally, try clearing your browser cache and cookies. You can also check whether you have the same problem on a different browser.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/If this doesn’t fix it, please tell us exactly which browser and version you’re using, and also try to give more information on exactly what happens.

Yes i am speaking about that site. When I signed up i got to the “Choose a theme” part of the configuration and my computer lost power. When it returned my site was only half set up. So whilst your installation had completed say 10/10 steps, mine got through 4/10 steps.
I am using Firefox which is compatible.
An example of what happens is:
When i click My Site the page opens and under the area where it shows your site instead it says “Loading your site”When i try and add a blog post it gives me an error “An error occurred while saving the post.
User cannot edit posts”When i try and add a page it gives me the error “An error occurred while loading.
User cannot edit posts”When i try and update my profile the Save button does not ever highlight.
When i say that my “installation” was not complete i meant that i was unable to make all the configuration changes to complete the setup.
I was hoping that an admin on WordPress.com could look at the back end of the site and make sure all configuration changes were made successfully.

Also..
When i go to Account Settings, my username is blank, my primary site is blank, my webaddress is blank.

That should still not prevent you from using the site. It’s not like a piece of software on your computer where everything goes bonkers if you interrupt an install-operation.
I created a new site and things improved. Thanks
If you still need help with this you can add “modlook” to the tags area to the right of the thread to flag this for staff.
In that case can you please answer the following questions in case it will help with troubleshooting this:
Exactly which version of Firefox are you using? Have you tried clearing the cache/checking in a different browser?
What type of device (e.g. pc/mobile) and which operating system are you using.
What type of internet connection are you using? If possible, can you check what happens if you use a different connection?
