initiating new video blog

  I am initiating a video blog. I am reviewing the Support page. Expect to post my own videos as opposed to importing other sources. Curious what themes are best for a video blog. Also, I bought a domain name from GoDaddy and want to set up the blog with this new domain name. I did this once before, but forgot. Thank you in advance for your gracious support.

  Do you have a link to your WP.com blog? The site linked to your name is not a Wp.com blog and our answers will not apply to it.

  Yes. My blog (psychologyoffamilywealth.com) is a wordpress blog – and I have initiated another WP blog, I intend to post only video on – I secured the video upgrade today.

  Domain Mapping

  That will help you with the domain question.

  We always need a link to the blog (preferably starting with http) because answers vary depending on different factors and also because 30% of our queries come from WordPress bloggers who are not hosted on WordPress.com.

  If you are doing videos, you probably want them to display as large as possible, so you will probably want to have a wide post area. You can see this blog post for the widths of the post areas on the various themes: http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/07/23/maximum-image-width/ .
