Iniviting people to join my blog

  Hello!
  I am trying to invite some people to join my blog, but they do not have user accounts in WordPress.com. Is there a way for them directly join my blog without actually having to create one of their own?
  Thank you!

  When you say “join” do you mean that they would be writing blog posts? Or do you mean that they want to be notified of new blog posts you publish?

  They would need to set up a WordPress.com account. There is no other way for the system to know who they are and if they are authorized to be posting on the site, I’m afraid.
