Inline mp3 player problem

  when i use the [audio] tag the player is there and whni click on it, it says buffering and then error opening file. Could this be caused by my web host not allowing a mp3 file to be remotely called or did i do something wrong in my implimentation?

  Yes, that’s one of the most common reasons it won’t work. Check with the webhost that’s got the MP3 to ensure it allows hotlinking. Some don’t.

  Another reason could be that the link is live, and your blog is trying to impliment it as a link, not as a playable file. Go to Edit Page and see if the URL of the MP3 is highlighted, as if it were a live HTML link. If it is, break that link by putting the cursor on the link and then using the broken link icon above the text box. Try that and let us know what happens.

  aha it was a live link, broke it, and now it works, many blessings
