You have some errors in your main page, probably in posts.
Go to settings > writing and select “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and click save changes.
Open each post on your main page in the editor, make one minor change such as adding a space and then deleting it and then click update post. This should automatically correct HTML errors and the change at settings > writing should keep this from happening in the future.

You know on second look, the code for the image and text in the sidebar is seriously messed up.
<div style="border: 0pt solid rgb(255, 0, 0); margin: 10px auto; padding: 0pt 10px; overflow: hidden; clear: both; height: auto; position: relative; width: 95%;"> <div style="background: rgb(204, 204, 204) none repeat scroll 0pt 0pt; -moz-background-clip: border; -moz-background-origin: padding; -moz-background-inline-policy: continuous; display: block; height: 2000px; left: 2%; position: absolute; top: 5px; width: 2000px; z-index: 0;"/> <div style="border: 1px solid rgb(189, 189, 189); margin: 0pt 10px 3px -10px; padding: 5px 10px; background: rgb(255, 255, 255) none repeat scroll 0pt 0pt; overflow: hidden; -moz-background-clip: border; -moz-background-origin: padding; -moz-background-inline-policy: continuous; display: block; height: auto; position: relative; width: 99%; z-index: 1;"> <a href="http://thefunctioningalcoholic.wordpress.com/files/2009/08/250_drinkingwoman.jpg"> <img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-77" width="242" height="300" alt="250_drinkingwoman" src="http://thefunctioningalcoholic.wordpress.com/files/2009/08/250_drinkingwoman.jpg?w=242" title="250_drinkingwoman"/> </a> </div> </div> <div style="font-size: 100%; text-align: center;">There are secrets through keyholes everywhere... </div>I pasted the above into the wordpress editor and it completely choked on it.
If all the above is actually in that text widget, you need to junk it all and do it over. I would use the visual post editor to compose it (with the change mentioned in my previous post at settings > writing active).

Thank you thesacredpath, but it didn’t work, I reduced the size of the pic I put in but that didn’t help either, but thank you x

After composing in the post editor switch to the HTML tab and copy out all the code and paste it into the widget.
