inove theme – displays leave a comment, even if comments disabled on post

  The sticky post at the entry of the page has comments disabled via WordPress. However the theme insists on showing the ‘Leave a comment’ option. Surely this should can be disabled where it is not appropriate, rather than leaving the user confused about why they cannot add comments despite pressing the button.

  Issue raised with support. Will let you know if they resolve this.

  Courtesy of the helpful people at WordPress.com, this issue has now been fixed. The offending ‘Leave Comment’ link is now replaced with the text: ‘Comments off’ and no link.

  Result!!
