  I am designing a website on WordPress hosted on Hostgator and offer services. I intend to accept payments online. We are a startup and don’t know technical stuff. Do we really need to go with hosting provider or can I accept payments by signing up with wordpress.com itself.

  The only secure payment processor we have on WordPressdotcom is PayPal. https://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/
