  Hello,
  I would like to change my site name and domain from moviesbyt to reviewsbyt. Does this require me to create a new site, or pay for a plan? Im on the free plan right now and its a simple name change.

  Unfortunately, you won’t be able to change to https://reviewsbyt.wordpress.com/ since that already exists.

  One alternative is to register a custom domain for your site https://wordpress.com/support/domains/register-domain/

  A paid Pro plan is required to set a custom domain as your site’s primary domain https://wordpress.com/support/domains/#set-a-primary-address and since the Pro plan includes 1 free year of custom domain registration, I recommend starting there if you want a custom domain: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
