Insane amounts of spam

  Hi! For a while now I’ve been getting about 80 emails a day from WordPress asking me to moderate a comment on an image on the site. All these comments are spam. The emails go to my junk folder, but still there must be a way to stop this craziness! Can anyone help?

  Hi @hayleydoshay, could you confirm what site you need help with?

  I checked to see what emails we’ve sent you recently, and only found email related to this request. I didn’t see any sites hosted here with us, either. Our hosting includes Jetpack Anti-Spam, so generally you won’t see spam here.

  Is there any chance you’re using a copy of WordPress with another host? Here’s the difference:

  Again, for what it’s worth, we use Jetpack Anti-Spam / Akismet here.
