Insert a Slideshow Not Including the Entire Gallery

  Hello WordPress users, I have a question about inserting a slideshow in a new blog post: Is there a way to insert a slideshow that does not include every image that is currently in my gallery for the specific post? If this functionality exists, I would find it incredibly useful. Thanks!

  I quick forum search turned up this. Slideshow – excluding photos from it

  At present, the only way to remove photos from a Sideshow is to delete them entirely, because the “exclude/include” function doesn’t work in a Slideshow. … https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/slideshow-excluding-photos-from-it?replies=14#post-513146

  This is something that would be great to have more control over! I was very frustrated trying to get the SLIDESHOW to work how I wanted it to!
