insert blank text line in post content

  I want to insert blank text line in post content. I tried <p></p> to get a blank line inserted above text but it didn’t work. How do I do it?

  Hi there,

  You can insert the paragraph tags like you wanted if you click the “Text” tab in the upper-right hand corner of the composition window while you’re writing. That will take you to the straight HTML view.

  If you’d rather control the line breaks yourself while in the visual editor, holding down the “Shift” button while pressing enter, will just bring the cursor down one line at a time, giving you more control.
