  i need to insert certain codes into my website for email subscription pop up interface, how can i do that?

  At WordPress.com there are limits on the type of code allowed unless you upgrade to the Business plan. Have you looked at MailChimp? Note for that to work you’d need to follow the specific instructions at https://en.support.wordpress.com/mailchimp/
