Hi there, plain HTML code can be pasted into a Text Widget. You can add widgets under Appearance > Widgets:
https://corteatilea.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php
Your code must not include JavaScript, forms, iframes, or any other type of code we don’t allow for security reasons:
Keep in mind that advertising isn’t allowed on WordPress.com sites, outside of our WordAds program. If your site qualifies, you’re welcome to apply:
Just let me know if you need further help.

Hi
thanks for your reply. This is exactly what i’ve tried to do, but it doesn’t work.
Would you be so nice and check the below HTML code against compliance with WP ?
Tx a lot.Regards
Michel<p style=”text-align: center;” ><img border = “0” height=”50″ width=”150″ src=”http://www.coltelloeforchetta.it/images/banner150x50.gif” /></p>

opps, you’re right, didn’t check that. I have asked the provider of the banner. If I get an answer, I will revert to you.
Many thanks for your support.
Cheers, Michel -
