Insert Gallery with slide show

  I have a home page with twenty fourteen template. I abandoned some years, now I want to renew it in a little bit different way. I use the same template (I like it) but I am not able to insert a gallery with slide show. I inserted a gallery, but I do not find a possibility to choose the slide show for the appearance. I tried to insert a gallery widget, I have chosen the slide show appearance, but it says that is not functional, because I need Java script. It is curious for me, because the old one is functional on the same computer with the slide show for galleries. I need help. Best regards Vandra Attila

  Hi. Where are you seeing the java script error? Is the gallery widget that you mention the WordPress.com gallery widget? If so, then it sounds like it may be a browser issue. The following support pages might be helpful:
