  How do I insert an image into a post? There is no readily available command that I can see. The old editor was so much more user-friendly.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  If you’re using the block editor, click the + icon and select the image block, or just type /image to insert the block.

  Thank you. I cropped the image and scaled it down. It looks fine in the edited post, but the image is missing in the preview.

  Hi. Don’t know what happened. I sent the urls but Google couldn’t deliver the mail. I’ll try again:

  Blog (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  Image: last added to media library. I can’t get the url, because when I go to media library, it is blank. Nothing there.

  Now image finally has reduced size, but caption is centered under the original image size. Also, I had placed it in text, on left. Now the editing tools are missing, so I can’t further reduce the size or change the placement.

  I’m going to click on “submit” as I did yesterday and hope it gets delivered this time.

  Hi there,

  In the wp-admin post editor, both the edit and preview versions look good and I can see the image just fine. I also checked the block editor and for both of them, you should be able to hover over and click on the images for the editing tool bar to show up.
