Insert Image Icon not showing

  insert image icon is not showing on the toolbar. It was OK recently when editing my Articles, but has now disappeared. Please advise further.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  As far as I know, there is not supposed to be an “insert image” icon, though there should be an “Add Media” button ABOVE the toolbar. Is that the one that’s missing?

  In my article page. there is an Insert Icon next to bold/ italics icon, but it is invisible, its just a blank box, and will not let me in to my uploaded gallery of images.

  The Toolbar you emailed seems to be for Posts, which is available ok on my Posts.

  However,I’m referring to the Toolbar for ‘Articles’, which unfortunately has several missing Icons, including the icon ‘Insert Image’, which is preventing inset an Image uploaded from my Media Gallery.

  Note: Insert Image is on the tool bar, but is an invisible empty box that shows up when clicked.

  I’m having a hard time finding the Articles in my own blog admin. Is this something that is only available in the specific theme you’re using?

  In Dashboard there is a black column listing the WordPress facilities to the left of the Statistics diagrams etc. This column contains access to Posts, Articles, Media etc.
  I can access all these, but the Articles facility has a problem with the Toolbar items, one of which is the Insert Image icon, which no longer works and so I cannot upload from the Media gallery.

  Annotum appears to be a discontinued WordPress.com theme. You can find more about it here: http://annotum.org/ (and that site is also hosted by WordPress.com, despite whatever it says in the footer).
