insert image in a post

  I cannot uplaod an image in a post .I read the FAQ s but .
  the upload button doesnt help me upload image
  Pls help me…am i missing something i cannot find the upload box under edit. I am new to this word press

  I’m having a different issue, but with the images. I can upload an image, but when I transfer it to my post, it just shows the image tag/code for the image, not the actual image. (this is while I am still composing the post, once I publish, the image does show up on the actual blog posting, but when composing or editing the post, it only shows the code)

  Yesterday I was able to send the image to my post, and I could re-size the image in the post before publishing.

  Anyone else having a similar issue like this?

  Madhoo, what OS, browser, and browser version are you using? You may also want to try clearing your cache and doing a forced reload of the page that you’re looking at.

  j, sounds like you may have gotten your editor changed. You can change it back at Dashboard -> Users -> Your profile -> check the check box at the top and save. Sounds like you’re looking at the normal text editor, not the rich text editor that you were using.

  You are correct! After one of my last postings yesterday, I updated something in my profile, and it seems to have un-checked the box for the Rich text editor.

  I re-checked it, saved.. and now it’s all good! Thank you much for the tip! This great wordpress community is why I chose WP instead of blogger!
