Insert Image Into Blog Question
-
Inserted an image into my Blog – looks good and clicking on the image brings up a larger version – good! But is there a way to have the reader navigate back to the Blog Page without having to hit the back button?
Would be more user friendly if there was something on the page that said return.
Cheers
Mike

No I think that is the issue, I have experienced people entering the URL again and do not think or know about the browser back button.
When designing sites either for myself or customers I always add a clear to see “return to home page” link. That caters to the non-web educated folks and I know quite a few of them :)

When you click on, say, the first image of your latest post, you get this:

This isn’t part of your site: it’s just a browser window that displays an image file.
If you don’t like this behavior, you can make the file open in a new browser window, so that visitors don’t leave your blog, or you can make the image link to an attachment page instead of the image file. See this post of mine:Uploading and inserting images: the three (plus one) link options
