'insert images' not working

I am trying to insert media into my blog post. I click on ‘add media,’ select the image from the media library… but then when I try to click ‘insert,’ nothing happens. It doesn’t register the click at all (incidentally, the ‘cancel’ button doesn’t work, either). I’ve tried across three different browsers and with multiple image files. I even tried restarting the browser, starting a new blog post and anything else I can think of. I have no weird plugins or anything installed on this site… What is causing this?? Thank you!

Do I understand correctly this is if you try to insert an existing image from your library? How about if you upload a brand new image?

Can you give me the exact version of your browser, and also make sure that it shows JavaScript is enabled?

I got up this morning and loaded up the blog again and tried to insert the images. This time, weirdly, it worked. I didn’t do anything to it; I was out of ideas to try. My computer had not updated, my browsers had not changed. But of course it works at the moment. Figures! Thank you for your offer of help… I’ll be back here if it happens again, since I still don’t know what caused it the first time.

The other option is that there was a problem with your connection. Next time this happens, please try clearing your browser cache and cookies, and also try unplugging your modem or router for a few seconds to reset it.
