insert media slideshow

  Hi,

  I just switched to a new theme, the photographer theme. I now would like to add the slideshow on the homepage like in the demo version. I am trying to follow the steps in the tutorial but it shows buttons that I can not find. Now I am getting lost! So I do have a slideshow, I got that working, but I want to adjust the pictures in it. The tutorial tells me to:
  Within the page editor, click the Add Media button.
  Within the Media Library tab, select Uploaded to this page from the drop down menu.

  But I do not have this uploaded button. My slideshow seems to show pictures that were connected to the blogposts in my previous theme. I have no idea where it gets them from or how to change them. Please help!
