Hi there,
Can you send me a link to a blog post where you’re having trouble with the more tag? I’d be happy to take a closer look for you. :)

Hello,
Well actually my last two posts:

Thanks

Hi there,
I’m not sure I understand the problem you’re having. Here’s what I see for your “Art Nouveau in Advertising” post on the front page of your blog: https://cloudup.com/ciOMRVkYTaY
The excerpt before the more tag is what’s showing up there. Then, when I click to view the full post, I see the whole post (all of the text before and after the more tag): https://cloudup.com/igNv48dooBc
From my end, it looks like the more tag is working correctly. Can you explain a little more about what is going wrong?
If the post looks different to you, can you make a screenshot of what you see? You can upload screenshots to your Media Library under Media > Add New in your dashboard, or you can use an online service like Snaggy. Thanks!

Hello,
Well the problem is on the whole post (https://cloudup.com/igNv48dooBc) i mean the paragraph is split, in two parts or in two sentences.
For example see this post: http://theminimalistdiaries.com/2013/10/16/a-dolls-house/
I have use the more tag on the front page and when you view the full post the text is a paragraph without any spaces betweenWaiting for your advise

Oh, I see what you mean! Thanks for explaining that. Right now, there is code in your post that makes the first section (before the more tag) a separate paragraph.
Here’s how you can fix that:
In the post editor, you can delete the more tag from your post. Make sure to also delete any line breaks, so the text is all in one paragraph, the way you want it to look when you view the full post.
Then, click where you want the more tag to go and click the more tag button in the post editor, to add the more tag again. That will place the more tag within the paragraph, instead of creating a new paragraph.
When you’re done, click the Update button to save your changes. Please let me know how that goes! :)
