Insert multiple pictures on post

I want to insert multiple pictures in the post in one shot. The only way I can do that is by using gallery but gallery shows small thumbnails. I want to show medium sized pictures on the blog. There is slow painful way to add each picture individually.
Any input is appreciated

Multiple images I upload through Photobucket so I won’t use up all my free image space here. They give thumbnails and have a multiple uploader. But just be careful of the bandwidth limit or you’ll have to upgrade at Photobucket.

Just a quick FYI (in case you did not already know), as I know you said you would like thumbnails to be medium sized: there is an option in Settings -> Media to change the default thumbnail size when inserting images into the body of a post.

Wow I didn’t know that. Thanks! Just changed it now and it’s better. I used medium because the thumbnails were too small.

I changed the thumbnails size under settings ->media and now the pictures are overlapping. I want a way where pictures show one below another in a decent size where the viewer doesn’t have to click it to see it better unless they want to see really big size.
