Insert picture into post …

How do I keep text from wrapping around a photo when I insert it into my post? My website is crossfitchronic.com. You can review my WOD blog where I post daily workouts. I have resorted to just putting an enormous amount of hard returns to keep the text from wrapping around my pictures. I can’t figure out what I need to insert into the advanced settings. I would like all text to fall directly underneath the photo. Everything flush left. Thank you so much for your time and patience with a rookie.

  • Hi there,

Yes, there is a way to do that without using hard returns. You will just need to edit your images (hover over the image and click on the “edit” icon) to change their alignment to “None” and then save that change.

Once you have done that, you will need to remove all of those extra returns you added, and make sure the image is on a line of it’s own.

This will default to the images being on the left (no wrapping) and the text above and below.

Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks so much. I assumed that the image should have an alignment of left.

  • Great, glad I could help! As it turns out, alignments of “none” are also in the left, though that is not immediately clear, so I understand your confusion.

    Happy Blogging :)
