"insert read more tag"

  Hello :)
  I recently started adding the “insert read more tag” option for my posts and all of them worked except one. Is there a reason that, no matter where on the post I place the tag, it refuses to work? It’s on this specific post:

  It seems like your more tags are placed at the end of your post:

  

  More Tag

  Can you try placing one earlier in your post, where you’d like your content to cut off on your Blog Page?

  Hello :)
  Thank you for your response. The truth is, every time I clicked on the “more tag” button, I was always near the top of the post, somewhere in the first or second paragraph. I never went to the end of the post, so there has to be some sort of reason why, if it’s appearing at the end, that the post is not “accepting” my direction and somehow “defaulting” to the end? : /

  I went back, deleted those “more” tags and kept trying to insert it in the first paragraph. It repeatedly appeared at the end of the post. Also, when I am viewing my posts, the “edit” link is not on any of them. Only on the comments, so I can’t click “edit” while viewing a post in order to edit them. There’s definitely something “wrong” : (

  I’ve inserted a more tag after the first paragraph, and it seems to be working fine.

  However, if you ever experience this issue with another post, please let us know, and we will further investigate the issue.

  Yes!!! I’m guessing whatever the difference was on my end, you were able to override it from your end. I’m thrilled! That post was taking over my whole home page!

  When I inserted the tags into all the other posts, there was no trouble at all–just with this renegade one–so I’m not expecting it to happen again.
