Insert read more tag failure.

Using new version of WP and two of their themes. Twenty Thirteen and Twenty fifteen. I deactivated as many plug-ins as I could find, have tried making the break after only a couple sentences. I cannotfor the life of me get it to work. It shows a dashed line and “MORE” ibin the editor, but nothing when I look at PREVIEW CHANGES. Is not separating the text or hiding it. Like nothing. I am in posts.

There is not blogger installed plugin ability on any wordpress.COM hosted site.
That site is not on WordPress.COM servers. You are posting to the wrong support forum.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, support docs and support forums, and many people get confused about the two.
