Insert video from computer to wordpress

  Hi,
  I wonder how do I insert my own video directly from computer to wordpress?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Allison,

  You would need to go to your Dashboard, then to your Media page, and upload the file. After that, go to the page–by clicking on Pages–that you would like to insert your video in, click on the Edit Page box, click the Add Media button, and then click on Insert Media Into Page.

  Yes, I can do that.

  1) Go to your Dashboard. On the left side under Posts, there is a page called Media. Click on that page. You can either drag and drop your file into the window or choose to upload.

  2) Go to Pages. Select the page that you want to add your video file to.

  3) In the Edit Page window where you inserted text, move the cursor and click on the place in the text where you would like to add your video file. Click Add Media. Select the file. At the bottom left corner of the screen, click on the blue box that says Insert Into Page.

  4) Save the Page.

  You should be finished.

  Alison you can upload video files with VideoPress, a feature included with the WordPress.com Premium or Business plan.

  Home

  Once you have the upgrade, you can click “Insert Media” to upload your video in a post or page the same way you would upload an image.
