Inserted image does not show up

  My blog is: http://www.thefrostypaw.com

  I can see the image if I click view post after inserting but when I get back to the home page and choose that post the image does not show up only the alternate text.

  What am I missing? I have read the entries on how to do this and the image is ther , I see it in the editor.

  I am using the Categories widget to get to the post, is this the right way?
