Inserted images no longer appear

    I’ve been inserting images uploaded from my computer into posts for a long time. After insertion, the images used to show up in the draft post and then in the published post. Suddenly today, with no known changes on my part, when I insert an image, all I get is a frame with a pause (||) like symbol within the frame. The image does not appear in the published post. I then tried to insert an image using both a URL and an image already in a gallery. Again, same result.

    Are the images in question being hosted off-site at an image hosting service? When images disappear there is frequently a problem with the servers at the site they are hosted on.

    If not then are the images in question appearing in your Media Library or not? If they are not there then they cannot be displayed when the browser “calls” for them.

    Lastly please post links so we can examine what’s going on.

    I just read what you posted above again and now see you were clear that you posted the images from your own computer. Please ignore the 1st paragraph in my acomment above. Please provide us with the links in question.
