Insert/edit link button issues

hello, i’m trying to add a link in my contact page to my linkedin account but every time i put in the code, nothing shows up. i’ve even tried linking a page i already had to my Info page and that didn’t work. i’ve tried it both in Visual and HTML windows.
but nothing comes out on the web page. please help
