  I wish to insert a blog post so that it preceeds the post recent one already on the site

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  when you have got to the point of hitting the publish button on the side bar, if you look closely, next to the word publish will be an icon of a calendar, click that part of the button and from there you can set the date
