Inserting a forum page into my blog
-
I am trying to insert a forum page into my blog for people to share their experiences with our product. I wanted to just add it in as an additional page under the tabs. That part I can do.
I dont want to ask the question on the new page and then have all answers go into the comments section of that one post. I want an ongoing forum type page where everybody’s post is a separate comment. I am using the INOVE theme and am new to this.
Can anybody steer me in the right dierction? Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It is not possible to integrate a forum-like discussion into a wordpress.com blog. You will have to use an external discussion board that has a link from your blog.

In the blog linked to your nick you’re using Vigilance, not iNove. Anyway, what you can do is publish the “forum” page with nothing in the main textbox, and start it by submitting a comment yourself.

But that’s not really a forum is it? Even if you have threaded comments. Every topic and every Q&A will be crammed into one page. It’s a workaround, but not a forum.

Thank you for the input. Being new to this, I am still learning the ins and outs. I appreciate the quick replies…

Hi MrBenz
You could check out the P2 theme on WordPress.com, or consider using Free Forums.
You can read about P2 here:
