Inserting a java script in a Worldpress blog
-
Hi,
Is there a way for inserting a javascript in a wordpress blog using the web interface for adminstration, without making the upgrade for the custom css. I’ve worked before with blogspot and there you had a textbox where you coud insert custom scripts in the blog code. I need to insert this script for measuring the trafic on my blog with statcounter.com. I understood that this script must be inserted in footer.php.
Thanks

No we can’t do to security issues. We can have Site Meter but they won’t show the referrals though. But it does show referrals on our dashboard under Blog Stats. More can be read by typing the word javascript at the search at the top right of this forum.

I think that Blog Stats is good enough for measuring the trafic on my blog..
Initially, I was also using thirt-party stats count in my blog but we do have Blog Stats in wp.. why do you wanna use other tool for measuring the traffic of your blog. -
I want to use another tool for measuring the traffic of my blog because with Blog Stats you can’t obtain data such as First Time Visitors, Returning Visitors or the location of the visitors. All this data are provided by statcounter
