Inserting a link

  Heeeelp! i’m trying to insert a link but for some reason it highlights the entire rest of the post and hides my comments button.
  how do you make it so it only highlights one word. for example:
  click “here”.

  Do you have a wordpress.com hosted blog?

  thank you. i will try it.
  originally i had clicked on “link” in the top bar above the post i created
  and inserted the link that way. i will try just doing it manually.
