inserting a new header image

Hello: I have created an image for my blog and I’m trying to insert it in the page. I can upload it but it always crop and I can’t see the whole picture. I have change the size many times but it always happen the same. What can I do?

You are using the kelly theme, the header image should ideally be 1200 width * 250 height pixels. Here is a screenshot of how your site appears on my screen:
Just try to upload another image with the specified dimensions and let me know how it goes. Let me know if you still face an issue, would be happy to assist you further.

Hi there,
I just want to add an extra note that Kelly and Twenty Thirteen (which I see you’ve since switched to) are designed for a large custom header, which is used as a background image. Edges of the image will therefore get cropped on smaller screen sizes so that the image scales correctly and always takes up 100% of the available width.
We recommend using custom headers that are more flexible, decorative or abstract, so they can handle some sort of cropping.
If you have an image that can’t tolerate any cropping then I recommend uploading it as a site logo. The site logo feature is meant for images like yours, that include important texts. You can filter for free themes in our repository that support a site logo here:
