Inserting a Poll
-
Hi,
I’ve created a poll using Poll Daddy as suggested. However, when I attempt to insert the HTML into my sidebar, it is striped down to a link due to the fact that it’s Javascript.
How can I insert the actual poll, rather than just a link, into either my sidebar or just into a post.
Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You shouldn’t have any Javascript anywhere. What you should get after you create and send the Poll to the Editor is a shortcode enclosed in brackets with the poll number

“as suggested” where?
These are the specifics for a WordPress.com blog:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/polls/
Is that exactly what you are doing?

You can see a test poll on my blog’s sidebar and w00t! they’ve added an integrated “Share This” button!

A-ha! A box with Javascript does appear in the Poll Editor pop up window in the Post or Page Editor. Pick the shortcode to use. (Rather confusing I must say.)
