Inserting Adsense HTML code

  How can I insert my google Adsense html code into my blog? I tried to create a TEXT widget and copied and pasted the code but it is not working.

  You can’t have adsense on your blog here at wordpress.com; you have to go to wordpress.org and host the software to be able to do that.

  a quick search in the forum pulled this up:

  AdSense and other ads

  there is a bar at the top of the forum for searches – I typed in ‘adsense’ and hit search
