inserting Bing Videos in a wordpress.com page

I know that it is possible to add videos to a wordpress.com page by clicking add video > from url > and then following the conventions according to the video’s url. however, there does not appear to be any format for inserting a bing video.
just inserting the bing video url does not get a result.
Are there any workarounds for this?
Or is it that wordpress do not support this – will they support it in the future

I doubt they’ll support it. The number of video formats they support is quite small, due to security considerations. What you CAN do is register with http://vodpod.com and use the vodpod button to put any video in your blog, as long as it supplies an embed code. This works very well.

The number of supported videos has grown amazingly over the past year. http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/
I’d drop a note to Support or post in the Ideas forum and suggest it as a feature request.
