Inserting date of post automatically
-
Hi – can someone please advise the simplest way to ensure the date of a post is inserted into the post automatically? Or do I need to do this manually each time?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
By default each of your posts has a date and time stamp attached to it. Some themes do not display the date and time stamp, in which case you might be able to make it display through the use of custom CSS scripting, however that would take a significant amount of work.
In all likelihood, you will need to enter the date in to your posts if you’d like them to show the date of publication.
If the CSS route is something you’d like to pursue, your first stop should likely be the CSS Customization forum where you can discuss such a goal with others who are customizing their sites. You can find it here:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization
You also can check out the forum which is specific to your theme and which is managed by the theme author. That is available here:

Finally, there are some companies which can do custom CSS changes for you for a fee. One such company which users have reported success with is tweaky.com.
