  I sincerely feel for those who are having issues. I’m not because I’m using Firefox. I’m a practical type so if one thing does not work I try another.
  However, you have said something that simply isn’t true.

  IE is the #1 browser – of course most people use it.

  IE has NOT been the top browser of choice for most surfing the web for since 2009. See here please for browser use stats >

  IE – 25.8 %

  I also believe that Staff are working on this issue as all blogging platforms are aimed to be as cross browser compatible as possible.

  @timethief, you quote “If you wish to cling to IE and not be able to blog then that’s your prerogative”…you have missed the point. I have blogged here at WP with quite a few different blogs for 4 years, always with IE and now suddenly WP doesn’t work using IE. I have no desire to change my browser and why should i anyway, it’s the browser i choose and am happy with. If IE no longer works at WP then yes my choice is to move elswhere rather than change my browser, but then i’m bloody-minded that way. Obviously it WON’T prevent me from blogging, because there are other blogging sites beside WP.

  The issue has been reported to Staff who are working to resolve it. All blogging platforms are aimed to be as cross browser compatible as possible.It’s too bad that the only temporary solution we have to offer does not meet your approval. We Volunteers do the best we can to help and when we experience those who refuse to help themselves all we can do is move on down the line.

  I am also having the same problem, but today I can’t seem even to get them down loaded on the top of my page. X appears and the caption.

  I was told by Staff that it was easier to get it to work in Visual than Html.

  Not.

  Also, in Html, it is hard to tell where the Image code begins and leaves off.

  Maybe they are working on it, but it’s gotten worse, not better, in the past month. Used to be if I moved the cursor around a little and then hit it three times, it would accept the placement. Now even that doesn’t work any more.

  When what Help tells you doesn’t Help, we’re talking Bug, not choice of browser.
