inserting links???

  How do I insert a link in my blog? I thought I had it figured out, but when I published the blog, the link showed the http plus the location of the link. I clicked on the ‘link’ icon and typed in the necessary info. Still didn’t work. I wanted it to say “FDA Drug Approved”, but instead it just show the location of the link in the blog. Not cool. So I removed it. I know it’s gotta be something simple. help. In the future I know I will continue to want to refer to links of other stories. Everyone makes it look so easy in their blogs. Please help this newbie!
