Inserting links

Using the old Classic editor, when I wished to insert a link into one of my blog posts I was given the separate option of renaming the often quite long series of blue characters comprising that link into something as simple as ‘Click Here’.

With the new Gutenberg editor, no such option, at least to my eyes, exists. Consequently my posts recently have included links with ridiculously long series of blue characters, which when clicked on, WILL take the reader to the new destination but it just looks so goddam awful and amateurish on the page.

    Can anyone help?

    Hello

    Let me try :P
Not really sure about the question on the blue characters
but if you are inserting a link with the title ‘Click Here’
The difference in the new editor is to type ‘Click Here’ first then insert the link that you desired

    Hopes this help
