inserting links in visual editor

    How can I get the URL for the link to not show in the blog page. I have copied and pasted the links over text following directions for ‘creating links in the visual editor’. However, when I preview the page the URL shows along with the text. I can click on the visible URL but not the text to open the window. In this case I am linking to a google map that I created. Other links, for example for other pages in the blog, work as they should.
