Inserting media from URL is using my upload space.

Inserting media from URL is using my upload space when the media is not uploaded to my blog’s Media Library. What causes this problem when insert a image from URL and my upload space says that I am using 167.9 kB out of 3 GB when the media is not uploaded to my blog’s Media Library?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Might be thumbnails used to show smaller sized images before visitors click on the thumbnail for a full sized image

It is not uploaded to my Media Library but is still taking my upload space even when the media I insert from URL is not uploaded to my blog’s Media Library.

@b-I understood what you were saying, but I really did mean to ask,
So you have no media whatsoever in your Media Library?
And we are talking about the site you’ve linked to, yes?

Hi there,
I just fixed your Media Library so it shows the correct amount of space used (0.00 MB since you haven’t uploaded anything there). Please let me know if you have any other concerns about that.
